Mr Howard and Mr Beazley both knew and were both apparently willing to institute GATS. It is the MIA in a different form. They were only waiting to find out who was going to win the election before they sent a team to America to initiate the GATS agreement. This shows that both these parties are traitors and willing to give our county away.

Your country needs you GATS - GENERAL AGREEMENT ON TRADE in Services 1994 (Not to be confused with GATT (General Agreement on Trade and Tariffs))

GATS an international agreement was first put in place in 1994, as part of WTO activity. Currently, in 2001 there are moves to make major amendments to GATS. These amendments are, among other things, are designed to put in place what the establishment failed to get in place through MAI. (Multinational Agreement on Investment)

The international establishment have not given up, they are just attacking from a different quarter. It is clear that our Australian establishment are not only prepared to do as they are told by the international establishment but to go further and are helping to prepare the way around the peoples' world-wide objection to their plans.

If we think there is a shortage of money for education, health, hospitals, to fight organised crime and a host of other community requirements including the aged care, childcare, the arts etc. WE HAVE SEEN NOTHING YET.

The present shortage will be seen a massive over-funding by comparison with what is in store, if the proposed amendments to the GATs agenda are approved.

The first of the proposed amendments will be considered at the planned GATs meeting 8 - 12 November 2001, Qatar. Australia is responsible for drafting amendments that will bring in the MAI proposals in by the back door.

In brief one of the proposed amendments form an agreement where no country can discriminate in favor of its own community systems.

In other words Australia will not be able to give subsidise (give taxpayer's money) to local hospitals, schools, universities, aged care, childcare, the arts or any other community service without giving equal amounts to similar foreign-based organisations that have won a contract to operate a community service in Australia; and because the document is so openly worded this may also be the case with Australian taxpayer's money going to fund community services in other countries.

In other words, an amount of tax payers money that is allocated to a local disadvantaged school or hospital will have to be made available to every other hospital or school and to any foreign organisation that makes a claim.

GATS covers every human services, from the mail-mans job to building homes, hospitals to police service and it allows unrestricted access to foreign workers and exposes Australian workers to competing with foreign rates of pay.

November 2002 is set as the final approval date for this act of treachery.

The only way it will be stopped will by the people getting involved in an Australia- wide campaign to stop GATS.
